2. Today we are going to learn about the technology of war and its result, trench warfare.  Watch the following video for an overview.
3. Read the article, "Life In The Trenches".  This is a great site: you can click on the links within the article and learn even more about certain conditions/situations.

4. Open this document, "A Letter From The Trenches"; make a copy, and place it in your WWI unit folder.
Imagine yourself as a soldier in WWI fighting from the trenches.  Follow the directions on the document to write a letter home describing your experiences.
