Students who were absent on Friday, March 9 need to come in one day this week at 7:30 am to take the 1920s Unit Test. All tests must be completed by Friday, March 23.
1. Create a new collection in Google docs titled, "Great Depression".
2. Click here to access the Unit Overview and Study Guide for The Great Depression. Make a copy of this document and place it in your Great Depression collection. Take a few moments to look over the key points of the document.
3. Now you will need to create an account with Quiz4Teachers. Use your google username when prompted for that information. We will be taking future tests using this site. First, open your usernames/passwords document so you can save the info for this site. Then, click here to access the site; click on "student site" at the upper right hand corner of the screen and then follow the directions to create your student account. Don't forget to add your username and password to your Google document! Click here to submit your username and password to me.
4. Open Evernote and create a new note (within your US History Notebook) titled: "Bust" Video. Then add these topics to your note: 1) Stock Market Crash (causes and effects); 2) Dust Storms of the Midwest; 3) The New Deal; 4) Government Recovery Projects.
We will be watching America, The Story of Us. This episode ("Bust") outlines the causes/effects of the Great Depression. You must take 5 significant points over each of the four topics. Once you have the topics added to Evernote close your chrome book halfway so I know you are ready to watch the video.
