Objective: Analyze the religious, social and economic differences between modernists and traditionalists of the 1920s.
1. Use today's class time to finish the chart from Tuesday: Traditionalists vs. Modernists. This is due today; you can submit it here.
2. Open this document: Unit Overview and Study Guide: 1920s and create a copy of it so that you can look over it before tomorrow's test.
3. If there is still time remaining read this article, "Why I Bobbed My Hair" by Mary Garden. (It is the 4th article listed on the site, so scroll down until you find it). This is a first-hand account of a 1920s flapper.
4. For tomorrow's test: study all your notes from Ch. 26-29 and your vocabulary from each of these chapters. Ch 26 notes were taken on paper (way back in the day); Ch. 27 should be in Evernote or Google docs; Ch. 28 is in Google docs and posted on the blog on the "Student Created Notes" page; Ch. 29 Notes are in chart form (Wednesday's assignment). Bring a pen or pencil tomorrow in case we take the test on paper!
