Wednesday, April 11: World War II

Student Objective: Identify reasons for US involvement in WWII, including Italian, German, and Japanese dictatorships and their aggression, especially the attack on Pearl Harbor


Announcement: I will not be here Friday, April 13 and that is the last day of the six weeks. So . . .


1. Create a new collection in Google docs titled, "WWII". If you need help with this task raise your hand or ask your neighbor.


2. Drag this WWII Unit Overview and Study Guide into the WWII Collection you just created.


3. Yesterday you had the privilege of listening to Mr. and Mrs. Cates' experiences in WWII and the Cold War. Take a few minutes to reflect on what you learned and then open this document where you will write a short thank you note to the Cates. Make sure you read the directions at the top of the document regarding what needs to be included in your note.


4. When you finish with your thank you note you need to begin with Ch. 34 Vocabulary. You can access the words here. When finished, you can submit it here.
