Wednesday, May 2: End of Year Project

Student Objective: Apply critical-thinking skills to organize and use information acquired from a variety of valid sources, including electronic technology: identify and support with historical evidence a point of view on a social studies issue or event.

1. Yesterday you all brainstormed the topic you would like to research for your end of year project.  Now fill out this form to confirm your topic choice.  Every student must fill out this form (it is for a grade).

2. In Google docs create a new collection titled, "End of Year Project".

3. Open this rubric, read it, and then place it in your "End of Year Project" collection.  Refer back to it periodically so you know what will be included in the grading procedure!

4. Using Google Docs (within your E.Y.P. collection) begin outlining/planning your project.  This "plan" should be a step by step outline of the process for completing your project.  Remember if you are working in a group you need to share your document (in editable form) with others in your group.  You can do this by emailing the document to your partners.

*** This plan is due Friday, May 4 by 4:00 pm!!!!!
