Friday, September 7: Reconstruction (cont'd)

Student Objective: Understand the significance of the years 1861-1865 and its aftermath, the era of Reconstruction.

1. Answer this Quick Question:

2. Take a look at the image near the top of the blog, "The Freedmen's Bureau".  In 2-3 sentences summarize how this scene reflects the true nature of Reconstruction.  (Think about what we've discussed in our class notes). Write your answer here; click the submit button at the bottom of the form when you are finished.

3. Use the remainder of the period to complete yesterday's assignment, "Lincoln And The Civil War", with sascurriculumpathways.com (username: student; QL: 1260).  If you weren't here yesterday you can find the link to the answer document on yesterday's post (Task #3).

4. When you finish with the slide show you will need to complete the Practice and Quiz assignments in the "Test Your Knowledge" section of the sascurriculumpathways lesson.  You may use your notes to help you with your answers!  When you finish these two assignments you will have to EMAIL them to me (spetty@godleyisd.net).  Just follow the steps the website gives you.

5. After you have finished with the two "Test Your Knowledge" assignments submit your google doc (answer document) to me here.  The answer document, Practice assignment, and Quiz are due to me by Monday, September 9 when your class period's tardy bell rings.
