Tuesday, December 11: America: World Power (Cont'd)

Student Objective: Explain why significant events, policies and individuals such as  . . . US Expansionism, Henry Cabot Lodge, Alfred Thayer Mahan, Theodore Roosevelt and missionaries moved the US into the position of a world power.

1. Continue with the SAS assignment we started on Friday.  This is a 3 part assignment.  All parts are due by the tardy bell of your class period tomorrow (Wednesday, December 12).  The 3 parts are listed below:

• Notes (Google Doc)
• Practice (in the Test Your Knowledge section of lesson)
• Quiz (in the Test Your Knowledge section of lesson)

2. Submit the notes part here when you finish.  The Practice and Quiz portions of the assignment must me emailed to me through the SAS site!  If you need help with this process raise your hand or ask a neighbor.

3. Those of you have finished everything may begin Ch 20 Vocabulary, the "Spanish-American War", or work on homework from another class.  Here are the terms for Ch. 20 Vocabulary (place this document in your Imperialism Unit folder!)
