Wednesday, January 16: World War I (From Neutrality To War)

Student Objective: Write using newly acquired vocabulary; explain the significance of the following years as turning points: 1914-1918.

ANNOUNCEMENT: BRING HEADPHONES/EARBUDS TOMORROW!  YOU WILL NEED THEM.

1. We are beginning our studies of WWI.  Our focus will be on America's role in the war.  Open your timetoast account and add the following era to your timeline:

  • 1914-1918: World War I. 
  •  Significance: major powers of Europe struggling against one another to gain the "upper hand", militarily.
2. If you haven't created a WWI Unit folder in your Google Drive you need to do so now.  Need help?  Ask!

3. Make a copy of this document, Ch. 22 Vocab, and place it in your WWI Unit folder.  

4. Complete Ch. 22 Vocabulary.  Tomorrow I will have the form posted to submit the assignment.
