Monday, April 29: The Cuban Missile Crisis

Student Objective: Describe US responses to Soviet aggression after WWII, including . . . John F. Kennedy's role in the Cuban Missile Crisis

1. All classes should have finished the "Summary of the Cold War" document on Friday.  Submit it here.

2.  Take a minute to look over the following list of assignments we have completed this 6 weeks.  I have not graded anything; however, all of these assignments should have been submitted:

• America The Story Of Us: "WWII"- Video Notes (many of you completed a paper copy of this)
• WWII Vocabulary
• Summary of WWII
• Summary of Cold War

If you have not submitted all of these assignments do so now.  (Check your student email to see what you've submitted!)

3. Open a new Google Doc or Evernote; we are going to take a few notes over the Cuban Missile Crisis.

4. After completing the notes watch this short video of JFK's address to the nation regarding the Cuban Missile Crisis.
