Tuesday, May 21: Civil Rights Movement (Cont'd)

Student Objective: Identify the major eras in US History and describe their defining characteristics.

1.  We are  going to start class today with our Civil Rights Movement Quiz.  You can access the quiz here.

2.  When you finish with your test I want you to watch this episode of CNN student news.  There is a social media story and a story about the tornadoes that have been happening around the nation these past couple of weeks!

• When you finish with the episode click on "Daily Discussion and Newsquiz" and answer the discussion questions.  You may work with a partner if you would like.  
• Copy and paste questions  in a new Google Doc titled, "CNN Student News, May 21".  
• Answer each question
• If you work with a partner make sure both of your names are on the document and each of you are answering questions (use a different font color for each of you).
