Wednesday, May 8: Civil Rights Movement

Student Objective: Identify the major eras in US History form 1877 to the present and describe their defining characteristics.

1.  First thing . . . take the Cuban Missile Crisis Quiz using Skyward.  Log into your Skyward account and click on "Current Assignments" to access the quiz.

• If you don't know your Skyward Account info you can click here to take the quiz through Quizstar.

2. After you finish the quiz, continue with Civil Rights Vocabulary from yesterday.  It is due at the tardy bell of your class period tomorrow.  Submit it here when you finish.

3.  If time permits begin the assignment, "Background To The Civil Rights Movement, 1950s-1960s".

• The document has been scanned, so you must make a new document in your Civil Rights unit folder.  Title it the same as the scanned document.
• Create your document to look the same as the scanned document and then answer each question!  (Format and fonts don't need to be the same, but all info MUST be included!)
• You do not have to complete the very last part of the document that deals with the reading assignment!
