Friday, August 31: Reconstruction

Student Objective: explain the significance of 1607, 1776, 1787, 1861-1865; write using newly acquired vocabulary.

1. Open Time Toast.  We are going to add a few more dates and add pictures to each of the events we have created.

• add 1607, 1776 and 1787.  We will explain the significance of these events together.

2. Now we will create our student portfolios.

• Open Google Docs and click on "sites" (found just under the URL bar)
• Follow along with me as I explain the procedure.

3. Use the rest of the period to work on your Ch. 11 Vocabulary.  This will be due when you come in to class on Tuesday.  When you finish your vocabulary you can submit it here.
