Thursday, October 18: The Immigrant Experience (Cont'd)

Student Objective: Describe the optimism of the many immigrants who sought a better life in America; analyze causes and effects of events and social issues such as immigration . . .nativism; analyze causes and effects of changing demographic patterns resulting from . . . immigration to the US.

1. Check Skyward!  If you have a 0 entered for your Ch. 14 Vocab and/or your Ch. 14 Quiz you need to get these grades completed.  TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY TO COMPLETE THIS WORK!

2. Check the Student Portfolio page of the blog.  Click on your name and make sure your portfolio opens.  If you don't see your name it means you haven't submitted your portfolio to me.  Click on the "Portfolio Form" at the top of the blog and complete it.

3. We will be continuing our Immigration notes from Monday, so open your Evernote account or the Google Document you created.  Then wait for me to begin the presentation.
