Thursday, February 23: Wrapping Up Google Chrome Tutorials

Objective: By the end of the period today, finish all tasks from yesterday's post, "Chrome Book Start Up"; and learn about Evernote.

2nd and 6th period: you are a day behind the rest of my classes.  Scroll down to yesterday's post and complete steps 1 through 4.  If you have any questions . . . COLLABORATE with me and your classmates.  When you finish with yesterday's work come back to today's post and continue with the steps below.

For my remaining classes:
1. Watch Sacco and Vanzetti Part 14 here.  In your Google docs journal answer this: Give examples of why  Sacco and Vanzetti, although long since deceased, will always "live".

2. If you have not finished transferring your S&V Journal from paper into your Google document, do that now.

3. Once you finish your journal go to the tutorial page within this blog and watch the first tutorial on how to set up an Evernote US History Notebook.  (Use your headphones!).

4. Now I want you to try to set up your Evernote Account.  Evernote is on your apps page.  Click on it and follow the directions.  Make sure your "Usernames and Passwords" document is open so you can add your Evernote information to it.

5. Once your account is set up and you have created your notebook you may close Evernote.  Then scroll down to the "Learning About Google Chrome and the Chrome Books" post and submit your Evernote Account information (just like you did for Google/Gaggle Account information).

6. Last task!  Create accounts for Prezi and Popplet.  You need to scroll down to the "Learning About . . ." post to access the links to these sites.  Add the account info to your "Account" doc.  Then submit the form for each of these accounts.  Questions?  COLLABORATE!

6.  If there is time remaining in class you may explore the apps or browse the web.
