Tuesday, April 17: The Home Front in WWII

Student Objective: Explain the home front and how American patriotism inspired exceptional actions by citizens and military personnel, including high levels of military enlistment; volunteerism; the purchase of war bonds; Victory Gardens; the bravery and contributions of the Tuskegee Airmen; and opportunities and obstacles for women and ethnic minorities.


1. Continue with yesterday's task of writing the Pearl Harbor "newspaper article".  See yesterday's post for instructions.  When you finish you can submit your article here.

2.  Collaborative Note Taking: Open the document for your class period and find your name.  Follow the directions that are listed at the top of the document.
